This color combo is my new fave! Of course I think this about every single Color Crush post that I put together...but this time I really mean it. ; )
I would absolutely love to use this palette to decorate my bedroom. And with the addition of some candles or twinkly lights I can imagine it as a color scheme for a small intimate wedding or dinner party...maybe even a modern take on Holiday decor! So pretty!

I really wanted to choose colors and pieces that reflect the beauty of Autumn, without falling into the stereotypical burnt-orangey color palette. It also seems that these tones could also lend themselves well to a Spring event (for those of you lovelies on the other side of the Equator).

Nothing packs a punch like this vibrant duo – it can really liven up any room or outfit! The dining room pictured in the June issue of LivingEtc. is amazing, isn't it?! When dealing with such saturated colours it helps to see it all put together before trying it in your own home. How bold would you be willing to go?

Julie & Kathryn of perfectbound here! The lazy days of summer have arrived, which brings to mind those dreamy, light filled images of the most relaxing season. We stumbled upon some photos printed on old paper a little while ago, and the palm trees with faint hues of yellow and green have been stuck in our minds ever since. Fresh, but not too loud, these nostalgic yellows and greens almost send us back to the days at the lake with our feet dipped in the water, popsicle in hand. If only life were like that everyday! What colours remind you of summer?

I use photoshop's eyedropper tool to pull color profiles from images, but I know that not everyone has photoshop...and even if you do, you might just fall in love with this Color Palette Generator (found via Nicole Tattersall) because it will do all the work for you. Simply insert the direct image link and presto-change-o before your eyes will appear a lovely little color palette for you to use it whatever inspiring way you'd like. Have fun!

Earlier this morning I spotted this gorgeous photo on the lovely Maple & Shade blog and was immediately inspired to create a post off of it! Can't you just imagine sitting at that table eating your breakfast every morning! What a great way to wake up that would be!

Hello lovelies and happy Monday. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things after the weekend, and with my daughter returning to school after her Spring break. Phew.
This weekend I really started to notice all the lovely green hues around me (one of the best parts of Spring in my opinion)... and this post was born from that (and from the inspiration of that lovely teapot in image one). As much as I do love green, I'm not sure that I could take it in such a large dose (as all these things grouped together)... but on its own, a subtle accent of green or a cute tea mug in this case... is just the thing. Hello lovelies...welcome! I hope your weekend was relaxing and enjoyable in every possible way.
Today's color crush is not so much a new one, as it is a celebration of my ongoing love affair with the color aqua. It's not a secret... I'm obsessed. As a mater of fact, my house is practically filled to the brim with this color. I have a vintage aqua couch, aqua curtains, my dishes, my towels... and just about everything else it seems is within this color range. Last week I picked up a bunch of bright green flowers (natural, not dyed) from the grocery store, and they've been sitting here prettying up my otherwise messy desk ever since. The little hint of green has been such a nice accent and they (along with my usual aqua-saturated surroundings) are what's inspired today's color crush. Hope you like it!

When I came across this image styled by Sofie Dillon, I knew immediately that I had to create a post around it. I love the unexpected color palette and retro feel of it all. I can almost hear the wind softly rustling through the cobalt blue leaves. Can't you?
